About Beth

Beth Dodd-Smith is a single, work at home mother with many interests.  Photography is only one of them!  In her free time, she writes, reads, enjoys watching backyard chickens, explores with a metal detector, travels, bird watching, needlework and crafts such as knitting, crochet, and needlepoint, writes to pen pals, shops for antiques and collectibles, gardening, puzzles, storms, and movies, among many other things.  

Her photography work is mainly focused in and around Northeast Oklahoma where she lives with her youngest son, and menagerie of chickens, ducks, Chihuahuas, and aquarium creatures.

Beth has been a freelance photographer since 2006.  Most of her work is done in and around Jay, Grove, Colcord, and Kansas, Oklahoma, Southwest City, Missouri, and small portions of Northwest Arkansas. 

A few photos have been taken in London, UK.  

These amazing photos are taken mostly with an inexpensive digital camera.  Many of these photos have previously been published on My Space, Facebook, and Tumblr.
